Terms of use

The Maturity Model Rubric (TM) is the intellectual property of The Empathetic Museum Group and subject to restrictions. By accessing the Rubric and its supporting materials, you agree to the following:

  • You agree to share the outcomes of any institutional “empathy-building” work resulting from your work with the Rubric.  
  • You agree that the Rubric is The Empathetic Museum Group’s intellectual property.
  • You agree that your use of the Rubric is solely for your institution’s internal use, or if you are not an institutional staff member, for your own research. Any other uses are strictly prohibited.
  • You agree not to copy, publish, or distribute the Rubric in paper or electronic form to anyone, or any other institution, for any purpose without express written permission of The Empathetic Museum Group. The sole exception to this is if the Rubric is being used (as intended) internally within an institution for professional development and institutional planning purposes. 
  • You agree not to modify, amend, or “improve” the Rubric in any way (although suggestions for improvement are welcome).
