This year alone there have been more than 400 anti-LGBTQ bills proposed. This is a state of emergency. The strategy here is to have these bills contested and make their way to the conservative Supreme Court to pass a judgment that would legally define trans and non-binary people out of existence, dismantle what legal protections we have, and set our rights back decades.

#repost @them This week, the legislative assault on the rights of trans Americans reached new lows. Tennessee and Mississippi banned gender-affirming care for trans youth, and Tennessee instituted the country’s first drag ban. At least 15 new anti-trans bills were introduced and 37 advanced in state legislatures across the country, including in Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Maine, Missouri, Ohio, and Texas.
